Happy New Year to myself!

Have a good rest during CNY as I started work a week later then others and during this period I didn't do any visitation but rather just spend time at home, asking Him for direction for a few aspect and spending time with families. I get to spend quite a while with the new member of the family and of course the 2 bubbly girls Bernice and Reina as they are mostly at my place and man can they talk haha

He have shown me my weaknesses but I'm still unable to overcome it....frustrating and how I hate myself sometimes..sigh..I thank God for my family for their love for me. How good my sisters treat me and of course mom and dad and grandma taking care of me in different ways.

Lord please help me be a overcomer!

How amazing when life take a twist but another twist it's back to where it all begins.

I'm just so amaze now by the fact that where I am now is all by the grace of Him and that is all that I need.

Thought I will forgo this place for good but somehow I think I need a place to pen down my thoughts.

I really pray that the new things that I'm going to embark on will be pleasing in His eyes and He will shine His face on me so that I can be able to finally get my passion running and enjoy what I'm doing for maybe the first time in my entire life. haha that sounds rather serious but I guess my whole life is somehow or rather work in a very interesting way which at times I quite hated it.

I need to listen to Him more and not be led by my heart. A friend told me Feel with your brain and think with your heart. I'm still trying to understand this. =)

Been feeling rather confuse and down recently.

Today is rather interesting as I was walking back from the carpark, I overhead 2 young girls saying:
A: “巴士来了！”

B: “哪里有！你不要“瞎”我。”

haha I somehow just can't help it but give out a quick laugh..think nowadays anything can bring laughter to me. Learn to appreciate life.

::: Greetings from Macau:::

Today is the 3rd day of my stay in Macau and overall the weather is pretty ok except today which is pouring quite a fair bit so I'm stuck in the hotel basically doing nothing.

First day of the trip is pretty ok I guess as the flight was delayed by around 30-40mins and the air on the plane wasn't that good which contribute to my block nose due to my "sensitive" nature hahaha but some views during the flight is pretty amazing (at least for me!) I saw the moon on my right hand side and the sun setting on my left but I only manage to snap a photo of the moon due to the fact I didn't book the whole plane. Will upload the photos soon I hope as lazy to postpocess them.

We reached Macau almost close to 9pm and settle our first meal in a Casino (for those above 18) and frankly speaking I'm rather disappointed with the food.

2nd day we travelled over to a province (I think so) called 珠海 (Zhu Hai) and spend the whole day there shopping. Since it's a week day so the crowd is pretty ok and the stuff sold there are basically stuff you might find it similiar to Bangkok like pirated games, fake branded wallets, bags..etc. Tons of fake branded electronic stuff as well. If anyone intend to visit this place, it's better to find pricing from a few stalls/shops before you take out your wallet as the price difference can be as much as 30-40%.

Spend around 4-5 hours there before heading back to Macau and headed to a small eatery for our dinner and follow by taking a free shuttle bus to their so called best hotel in Macau "The Venetian Macao" basically you can find some brands like AX, FCUK, G2000, Giodano...etc kinda like Genting to me. Heard that some scenes from the Korean drama "Pretty Boys" was filmed here. We finally headed back to the hotel and I can say that my legs get much stronger after all the walking.

3rd day (which is today) Just too add on from the part earlier is I finally had the best meal of the trip during breakfast as we decided to skip their hotel free buffet and opted the restaurant or what you call them just 3mins walk from our hotel and the name is 鼎泰奉 and yes it's that name can be found in Singapore. The food is pretty good I would say and for Sis and husbang, Reina, bernice, Mom and myself we spent around $40SGD for the spread of food which I thought is pretty ok.

One more to add, the living standard in Macau is rather high and it might be higher then Singapore in certain aspect I would say in my opinion.

May is a month that makes me feel weird as I don't really enjoy a group of people rounding me up and singing Happy Birthday with a cake and a candle. If I have a choice I rather to go without it.

But I do enjoy it with a few close friends just having dinner and catching up.

Almost half a year gone and work does seems to progress pretty good but at times I do feel the stress creeping up on me that makes me feel like throwing the towel but I gotta press on as the WOG said in

Isaiah 40:31

³¹ but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

I will hang on to this and pray that He will bless the work from my hand and make it prosper.

Trip to Macau and HK most likely will be canceled due to swine flu! There goes my short break! Which I think God wanted me to be in Singapore to work harder!

::: The Many First Time :::

This month is rather a "exciting" month for me as I've experience so much with that little car of mine. Firstly how to change a car tyre then follow by a minor car accident where somehow my car was in almost perfect shape but the Carmy butt got a big dent in so Suzuki is better I guess hahaha (Burn my wallet thou!) and so after the car battery went dead on me and another hole burnt!

Work is getting more and more busy which is a good sign I guess. I need to up the gear and push myself further to move beyond my current level. I just need to Lord strength and I pray for more creative juice.

April is ending pretty soon in a couple of days and this has been a good month with a new journey so may the Lord bless this new journey. Amen! =)

This famous phrase just come to my mind as I wanna update here or just trying to be arty..hahaha

I can only say for this whole month everything just pass like a breeze as work is all that is occupying my time and when I reach home I just feel so drained. Quite alot of events that happen this month which some are rather surprising but on the other hand I can see them coming sooner or later. Something need to be done! Visited the last kampong in Singapore with the Pentax gang and I was attack by swarms of mosquitoes! But I manage to take a couple of shots but most of the time is scratching my leg and hand. Nothing impressive esp. if you been to M'sia rural areas but it was a good time of meeting the guys.

Many plans ahead but I need the Lord's leading and blessing in the things that is to come. Amen!

::: Back to the Army :::

Started the month of March with the men in green as I'm back for reservist for 3 days for some chemical defence theory and practical.

The amazing and interesting thing about me is when I'm back to the army, I just get so tired that I can literally doze off at everywhere I go..in lecture hall, outside corridor...yes almost everywhere. This is so funny as I hardly took naps at all during my days out of camp so could this be the "green" effect? hahaha

The chemical defence mask was pretty cool to look at but not so cool when you put on everything as it's like a mobile sauna suit as after the practise you can almost swim inside! The actual one was pretty good experience as I had the first hand experience of CS Tear gas effect is like and all I can say is...you whouldn't wanna try it!

2nd night was a killer as the guy who is on the bed beside mine is snoring! This is a killer for me as being a light sleeper I can't sleep with that musical going on. The concert ended at 4.30am and I manage to nap till 5.15am before I went for my IPPT which I thank God that I cleared it for this year!

Seems like my right leg is injured as somehow the joint is very painful right now. -____-

::: Time to Get My Hands Dirty :::

Today is the last day of February and seems like I might end up with zero post for this month but guess I should not let that happen! hahaha

This month has really been pretty crazy for me as internally it's a roller coaster ride for me as there is joy, sadness, disappointments and hope but as more and more such event happens I learn to handle them better each time.

This year CNY is good for the wallet but sad for the emotions as my grand uncle passed away after being in the hospital for the whole of CNY and left this world on the last day of CNY. Grandma cried a little but I know many thoughts are going on in her mind. No tears from me...

Work I would say it's just insane! and I forsee that it will be even crazier in months to come! Which I have not idea whether am I able to hang on before I collapse.

Some major things happen as well which make me think about do people follow the true because of the truth or the person who is sharing it? End of day, I just realise how carnal human are as they can twist the fact just to fit into their agenda to make it sound so right.

I hope many will realise we are Christ follower and not idol worshippers. No man can be bigger then Christ.

::: Slowly Creeping In :::

Unknowingly, Feb is coming in and so far for this month is really making me quite breathless as busy at work with the increasing workload and stress level and off work busy in my pursuit of knowing more about studio lighting and enhancing my photography and post processing skills which including doing shoots for models either indoor or outdoor.

But it's good to be busy as it keeps the mind occupied and prayerfully that the Lord will open doors to where my passion is.

Been busy planning something to venture off and also praying that it is His plan to kick it off. =)

Thinking it's time to revamp my blog design but learning now how to tweak this blogger language used and kick start with my own design.

Time for a good rest during this period.

Just back to office after being out for the whole afternoon and on the way back there is this motorist and his wife on the back seat and this guy must have think that he have been riding for so long that he don't need to pay any attention to other road user and he almost bang into me and to my amazement, he show me his finger and what happen next is he tried to catch up with me and when I stopped at the traffic light he delibrately stopped to block my way but with a switch of 2 gears I throw him behind.

At that moment I gotta admit that I'm quite pissed with his attitude and the devil inside me asked me to give him a little lesson but I didn't as it's too dangerous and with his wife at the back so it's not a wise choice to made. I hope that he will realise how dangerous he put his wife and himself into when he want to try this again.

Now after that incident, I look back into it...I just smile at how sillyit is..haha thank God I didn't participate in it.

8th day after 2009 and things will fall in place prayfully. =)

Didn't really feel like it's 2009 as I'm still writing 2008 when I'm needed to write the dates so really need to double confirm when I'm issuing cheques..hahaha!

What to expect from 2009? Think the mel side of me creeps in again as didn't have a good start immediately on the first day but guess all things happen for a purpose so what I can do? Seek Him more and trust in Him that he will deliver me.

2009 will be the year where I should really get something moving and strive for my dream. If i don't try I will never know will I be able to do it or not. So I just pray that the Lord will lead and guide me to it. I need confident, determination and perseverance to see my dream come to past!

1 more day and it's be the end of 2008 and I guess that is what should be something that is on everyone's blog during this short period...what is the new year resolution, what have you achieve this year..etc...etc.

After few years, I think I just stopped doing resolutions as I simply can't seems to hit them one way or another! =P mainly due to my lack of discipline and my lay back character..hahaha...*execuses*

But at least the year of 2009 I want to see myself up in my level of patience, perspective and a stronger and determined character. I foresee alot of changes coming in 2009 and do I hate changes! hahaha but I guess nothing stay forever unchanged except for God's love.

For the brain, I plan to enroll into NAFA but hopefully I can work out the schedule and dig out some cash while saving for my Euro 2010!

Skill wise, Photography to go up in better "eye" for the frame and knowing my camera well and understand the relationship with lights. Thank God for providing me a Sifu who is so willing to impart me his knowledge and skills. Hope to horn my skill to "Master' level and leave my padawan status! hahahaha but that means need to spend more $$ to get the equipment!

The year 2008, it just seems to fly for me as everything is so fast but glad that I've found some new good friends very unexpectly. But think I'm still in a very "low" spirited mode now as certain things just seems to go away but slowly..slowly..it will be gone. =)

God grant me a heart that welcome challenges! Amen!

Yesterday and Today...sounds like a song title from one of the fav jap band which I like alot last time...haha..back to the topic..this 2 days has been rather taxing physically as for 2 days I woke up at 6am and 7am to head out for some photo shoot sessions.

Yesterday went over to Little India where we marching off from Farrer Park MRT and just snap at will. Indian workers just love to be snap so that makes them very good subjects for portrait shots but I'm not a keen fan for that so I pass that..haha..

Seems like from Little India to Bugis the main and best thing to shoot is Architectural stuff and as we ended at Haji Lane where this small little lane that is filled with treasures so if you are interested to know what are the treasures just head over there!

Evening comes and it's time for a "Retro" party and I don't look forward to parties..prefer chilling out with friends..just sit there..listen to music..share about life..that is my cup of tea but not party..but glad that I'm one of the photographers so I don't need to take part in the games =P it can be quite dangerous as well!

This morning went for a model shot and the weather is the killer for today as we calculate in everytime except the weather but thank God he make the rain smaller for a couple of hours so it's not that bad. Overall I can say is we ended up shooting off the theme.

How many people look forward to Christmas? I think many will say yes immediately but I'm one of those that don't really look forward to that...haha..not because I'm the Grinch but it's more of the shopping and looking around for Christmas gifts!

Do I look forward to receive gifts? Yes and No I'll say as as your room get smaller you would prefer to have things that you'll use rather then just keep them and store them up in boxes after boxes so it's a mixed feeling but I look forward to the break from work. =)

2009 is slowing crawling in and this year has not been a easy one for the world and neither for me as well but God has been good to me being the ups and downs, He had taught me more about my weaknesses and let me know myself more and more. Just pray for a clear direction where He want me to move to.

Been away from here for a pretty long time as I've totally lost of ideas what to post as I've been thinking alot of things during this "slient" period but thank God it's not for 300 yrs!

Last month had been a really busy and tiring and of course down with fever for 1 whole week as well but God is good despite this tough period and been wrestling with Him for a very long time and I still refuse to give in...hahaha..why? I guess it's the fear of the commitments and disappointments happening again. Let see how it goes for the next round...hahaa

Well this week is really a very packed and rather fullfilling time as I've experienced that feeling of "How I wish I have more time!" and it's not easy but thank God it's FRIDAY! 2 more days to go and a new week welcome me again and very fast it will be 2009 so time to reflect again.

I've been thinking about this for awhile...but there are so many things that is just stopping me from doing it...Things isn't all great for me or I would rather say things is rather in a crappy and messy state in almost everything and the stress level is somehow just piling up on me even thou' at times it's seems invisible but you know it's there.

I seems so lost after all this while but I'm kinda enjoying this time...haha..think hurts will always be there in regardless of period and it's seems that the only solution is the learn to identify it and let it go...all this will take time I guess but I need to resolve all the problems that is in my heart before I can move on.

Guess the fence is really comfortable to sit on...haha

::: First Time Down MacRitchie Tree Top Walk :::

Went to MacRitchie Tree Top Walk the first time and initially I thought the whole walk was only around 4km but yes..it's 4km to reach the tree top walk from MacRitchie Reservoir and another 9km to walk back to the starting point! So end up walking 13km which took around 5hrs to complete.

If you are looking for a experience to have a walk over the trees then you can try it but if you are looking for some amazing view when you reach there then you might wanna give it a miss as when you are at there you only get to see mostly trees and the sky.

Overall it's a good workout and some nice keepers to take home for my camera.

::: Mid Autumn Festival :::

Mid Autumn Festival is just around the corner and so I took the opportunity to went down Chinatown for a visit and see what photos I can get from this so meet up with Timothy but just as we are having our dinner a big downpour greeted us so we waited at Maxwell Food Centre while sipping our hot soya milk and dicuss about some projects as well.

Thank God that the rain didn't last the whole night which at point of time we actually thought it defintely going to rain till the next day so we venture off to our walk as we see that the rain is almost gone.

Didn't have much to shoot as due to the rain there isn't much crowd as well so here is some of the better ones which I thought are still presentable.

::: First Attempt for Sun Rise :::

Last Saturday I made my first attempt to take a sunrise so I woke up at 4.30am and catch a cab down to meet with the kakis and we reached Changi Broadwalk around 6.15am and at that time we can still see the stars shining brightly in the sky but in less then 15mins time we see clouds formation forming up and blocking everything they could!

So ended up no sun rise to shoot with only clouds and clouds...and around 9am the rain started pouring so ended up we have our huddles in the hawker center....seems like all our outing are mostly raining cats and dogs!

Health have not been showing me favor this couple of weeks as been having flu, sore throat, cough and headaches...Need to rest more to build up the body again!

Time really flies, another few more months and it's 2009 so gotta buck up and do much more things and grab what every minutes I have. There are so many times that I've wanted to do this and that but somehow end of the day it's just goes down to the drain. Wonder is it due to my lack of perseverance?

Gotta rush finish a project and hopefully get it done by end of this month and get my pay check!

Been hearing alot about this place and finally get a chance to see how is it like with the rest of the CG people. Even though only walk a very small portion of the full route but it's sure looks interesting. Only walk for around 3hrs and the weather is good I would say as the night before when I check the weather forecast it was saying scattered thunderstorm so thank God for clearing the clouds away. =)

Been thinking shall I change my blog into a photo blog instead? Or should I just start another blog with just photos?

Another 4 more months and it's will be a year but that wound never seems to heal. Why? I wonder too...I wish I can lose my memories and start everything afresh but I think that will never happen unless God wants it that why which I don't think so He would. When will I step out of it? Pretty soon I hope...guess I really need to learn the art of forgiveness and detachment as I've learn recently from the book that I was reading..identify it, acknowledge it and let it go.

How I long for a break that can really break free from the hustle and bustle around me where I can just sit on a swing and facing a broad and wide field with flowers blooming...that day will come!

::: Finally I Got This Book :::

After hearing so much about this book, Sis finally pass me this book to read titled "Tuesday with Morris" and indeed it's a good book that really bring you back to some basic stuff about being human.

I'm only around 1/8 through and it gave lot of insights as it talks about this professor who suffered from ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), Lou Gehrig's disease and despite this illness which there isn't any cure for it he choose to live better and stronger rather then in misery and beside this professor it also talks about his beloved student whom they are very very close but after graduation he totally lost contact with him till he saw the dying old man on TV.

So much insights but so hard to digest...I think thats life when all things are green and beautiful we take it for granted and thought that all that is being done for us is normal and when anything less is given we felt that it's different and people have changed. If only we can really learn to live out what the Word of God said. I wonder what will I do if I know when I'll be dying. Will I just wait and do nothing or will I seize all the time I got to do.

I really wonder what is the service standard that Singapore is offering? Today I went down to M1 to do a upgrade for my mobile line and due to the fact that my Identity Card was stolen way back in 2004 and the person who steal my IC use it to apply a couple of mobile lines (Which I wonder how on earth are they able to!) and to protect myself and the mobile lines companies I've blacklisted myself so that the thief will not be able to get his ways but never will I expect this to cause me so much unpleasantness today.

I called up M1 weeks earlier to confirm that I can do a upgrade just by dropping in to any of their M1 Shop and not their retailers so I drop over to West Mall today to get my upgrade done but after some verification by their staff I upgraded my line to a higher end plan as my current plan has exceeded way too much so I told the staff I want to change my plan to the high end plan but the reply I got is that I'm unable to do so as I've lost my IC so they have CAP my plan to a $25++ plan then after awhile they said that I can get the high end plan but I'm unable to get the additional rebate for mobile phone due to the CAP again. I was in a shock and I asked them why is that so?

2 of their staff who is attending to me seems lost when I ask them this million dollar question and repeat the same thing again then I just tell them straight in their face. Singtel Mobile let me have this entitlement and with M1 for over a few years I can't even have it? So 1 of the staff told me she will check with the higher management and 15mins later she came back and told me yes I'm able to do so but during this waiting the other lady who is attending to me really seems very unhappy as she is tearing up the forms I've signed previously and while writing I think maybe she need to change a new pen as she is using alot of strength.

Overall experience I would say it's terrible as it seems like I own them for this?

I wonder do we work for the sake of money only? Or the joy in serving people if we choose to be in retail or service line?

I think I've come to a point where I'm always lost of what to eat during breakfast/lunch/dinner...I know there are many people in this world is worrying about will there be anything for them to eat tomorrow or even the next meal but I think for me I'm really getting sick of outside food so for the past 3 days I've been cooking my own dinner.

Monday: Seaweed Soya Sauce Noodles with seaweed wrap chicken.

Tuesday: Wild Mushroom Soup & Mee goreng with Luncheon Meat.

Wednesday: Sandwiches with egg, luncheon meat (left over from Tuesday?) and cheese and end of with a can of 100 plus.

Too hungry to take any photos before I cleared all the food...hahaha

Definitely tomorrow won't be doing any cooking as I'll be having CG gathering and Friday will be having BBQ time as it's a early birthday celebration for my youngest sis so most probably will be working half day and helping out my 2 elder sis in the preparation.

Lord heal my ulcer before the BBQ! Amen!

::: Exploring Another World :::

What a tiring but fruitful day as I've saw a new perspective of the world of macro as when you look in details at the things around you and you'll be surprise at how many things you can see that is there but you can't see it.

That is the perspective that I got today as after a solid 5 hours of learning on flash and macro indeed it's really very nice.

It's really not as easy as I thought as today after shooting few hours on macro photography my hands and joints are aching all over and tomorrow there's another event that I'll be attending to practice my flash photography.

::: Careless Reckless Drivers :::

Have stop blogging for quite awhile after the turbo mode which saw me posting a record high for the month since the day I start blogging.

After being on the road of Singapore almost everyday for the past 6 months and I can say that Singaporeans drive very dangerously as I find that they don't stick to their lane, they don't signal when they change lane, indecisive (esp. ladies...no offense but I just have to admit this as a majority) almost got into a accident as a lady suddenly change lane and thank God that there is no car on my left as I saw this monster flying to my side and I quickly switch flank and guess what is her reaction after this....she sped off (maybe over 100km/hr ) and that was really close!

Another incident is those who drive big vehicles like bus, lorries or those gigantic trucks. A couple of times I've encounter with TIBS or SBS bus drivers just drive out of the bus stop without even bother to see is is a safe distance as I can imagine their thinking is that they drive a much bigger vehicle so we will definitely give way to them and today there is this SBS driver who is driving out of his lane and almost (it's like less then 20cm!) I wonder what is he thinking?!?!

Till day I still prefer taking public transport as I can read during my journey and I realise I read the most while traveling!

Thank God for my 2nd sis' previous contact when she is dealing with event management which I manage to catch such a good event last month.

Seriously I didn't have much high expectation as I didn't even know who are these guys that will be performing but what can I saw when I first hear the voices of these 4 guys. It just blew me away...I totally enjoyed the 2hrs of non stop music and it's totally unplugged and no instruments. Just using their voice, their hands for clapping and snapping of the fingers. The whole performance is just magnificent. If this wasn't that sudden I would have invite more of my friends.

It's just interesting how much I've enjoyed a concert when I don't know 80% of what they are singing...irony..

Hope you guys can enjoy it as much as I do.

I just wanna give this entry as a thanks giving for answering my prayer as on Monday I forget to take my trolley (Cost almost $170) when I make a delivery to one of my customer and the ultimate thing is I only notice it when it's evening 6pm!

I make the delivery at around 11.30am and left the trolley outside the shop and while I was driving back to that shop I was just praying "Lord, please ensure that the trolley is still there..." when I reached the shop I was looking around left and right...went to the same spot where I "park" the trolley but there is nothing! I asked the shop lady and thank God she notice that trolley and kept it! I was filled with joy and really thankful to the Lord and of course that shop lady!

Do we only turn to God in time of needs? For this case is a YES from me. Got to learn to turn to Him at all times...

I've been a fence sitter for quite awhile after going through some major setbacks in life or I would say its just me as I don't like to be involve in things when I can't give my 100% so many a times I would just choose to be sitting up there watching. Some will say giving 10%, 20% or even 50% is better then just watch but from other person point of view there is truth in it but for me personally I felt that it's either 100% or 0% from me. Sometimes, once certain things happen the after effect is permanent and no matter how many things being done or words being said can remove it. Scars will always be scars...

I'm still in a very bad patch while I'm still trying to breath from the deep hurt that I've suffered and I'm under constant stress from work...

The Lord said..come to me all you who are weary and burden and I will give you rest...I need that rest now....

A new TV drama which I somehow caught it while dad is watching it and I was suck away immediately as I find the whole story plot is captivating (at least for me =P)

The story plot goes like this (extract from Wikipedia):

Recently been really busy with work as there are more goods coming in to the warehouse which at the moment really need some careful planning on the arrangement as it seems to get smaller and smaller due to the overwhelming influx of new goods. This is a back dated event that happens before my trip to Phuket as I was driving pass Alexandra Road just opposite Queensway Shopping Centre in the afternoon I was shock to see slippers follow by many bits and pieces of small items and next I saw is a female picking up her stuff and futher up is a guy picking up his bike and up further is a guy in army uniform who was down on the road trying to get himself up...blood was on his face. I stop at the road side and called 995 for the first time in my entire life.

The operator sounds rather tired and there isn't any sense of urgency..hmmm maybe because I'm more worried...so I called and my bro-in-law went over to help the army guy.

After around 10mins the ambulance came and we left the scene.

:::Trip to Phuket:::

Recently just make a trip down to Phuket (21st-25th May) as this is my first visit over there I'm not too sure what to expect but did went over with a expectation that it's a beautiful place with nice white sand and clear sea water as I saw on TV on those resort places...hahaha but I'm quite disappointed with the beach area that I went (Patong beach) as the buildings just looks like my Malaysia hometown Kluang but with many pubs/bars...not much shopping and the pricing of items and the sports are way expensive. For parasailing it's like $100 SGD for 45mins-1hr if I remember correctly.

Made a 1 day tour to Krabi and that cost me around $150 SGD but at least I did some snokelling and saw some fishes..not big but at least a school of them. The water is extremely salty and I've learnt how to use the "pipe" as initially I just can seems to breathe correctly and the sea water keeps coming in...hahaha

Overall it's a relax trip and a good break from all the stressful things in Singapore.

Another number have been added to my age today. At time I look back..how time have fly..I'm almost hitting the roof of 20s but still didn't really achieve much in my life. Many would ask what would you consider achieving in life? I think it's all up to individual perspective and their goals and drive perhaps.

I think I like to do many things...so many till I think I cannot do well in all aspects which end of the day it's just like Jack of all trade but master of none and maybe this year shall be the year that I really start to be a master of something first and slowly add in one at a time to improve myself so that I can be better equip to do greater things what is ahead of me.

This year is kinda different from the couple of years back as this time I have some friends celebrating with me and I'm thankful for that.

Finally got my first ever DLSR and after seaching for this model for quite a long period and after thinking and thinking for a long period of time and reading up, asking around, going around to have the feel of different brands and compare the prices of lens for different brands and finally I've come down to Pentax K20D as it fall within my budget and their lens are good and not as expensive as those more branded ones which i thought this can be a good start for my world of view through the square box.

Wonder how many people have ask themselves this question? How much is friendship worth? Just few days ago I received a sms from a person whom I just get to know during my reservist after being posted out to a new company.
During this 2 weeks in camp my impression of this person is not too bad as from the way he do things and how he react to situation. I thought he's ok but never did I expect to learn that he used "friendship" to borrow money. I'm not sure how many people he have asked but I only need 1 person to confirm.

I thank God for giving me the uneasiness in my heart before I do the bank transfer and the prompting to sms another bunk mate whom was in the same unit during my NS time. I was shock to find out that he already lend him a rather big sum of money last month which he failed to return on the date he promised and even asked for more. I felt sorry for my friend even thou' I may rejoice for my own blessing now my prayer is that my friend can recover his money asap.

I'm disappointed that there are people who just make use of friendship and relationship to gain something out of it. I despise such person!

Even try to catch a prawn using a rod? I had my try for the first time in my whole life last Saturday with a couple of friends. It was a great time together but for those who don't have patience I suggest you give this a miss..hahaha

We paid $26 each for 3 hrs and for my first hook it took me an hr! Thank God end of day we got ard 20 over prawns and we cook them on the spot!

20th April 2008 Sunday

Played our 5th game for HPL, this week opponent are not longer students but adults. It's was a close match and eventually we won 3-2 thanks to 2 goals from Marc and 1 from Darreny Tay. We could have been up by 5 goals in first half if not for some mistakes and great saves made by their GK. Rather demoralised as I miss a golden opportunity to give the team a bigger lead but that football. The minus point of the match is Jabez fractured his collar bone. Why do people have to go all the way to injuried another party? Football is physical but being in a church league I don't see much Christ likeness in this...sadly.

It has been over 2 weeks after reservist but the heat from the sun still is very much alive in my mind and the recent weather is helping me to remember it more! I wonder is the world coming to end in my time? The whole eco system is like going haywire and for Singapore, the rain is come and go..today it can rain the whole day and the next day it's the bright big round sun and mine you...the sun is really burning the skin even thou' I'm not a very "heow" person but the ray from the sun is just draining all my energy away. ~_~

Recently I'm back to gym to get some work out and build up my fitness for the football team and also to do better in my IPPT for next year...I really hope to get Gold and of couse the incentive that comes along with it! =)

Been away for 2 weeks for my annual In Camp Training aka ICT and this year's ICT is not the same as before as my old platoon was being disband due to a old weapon running out of ammo. Frankly speaking I'm feeling very down due to this (I believe most of the guys are TOO!) We went thru' joy and laughter together during our first 2 years together and some friendship have been forge.

During that day, all of us are like scattered stones...3 over to alpha...2 over to bravo...3 over to charlie..etc. This reminds me of a Jap drama that show Takuya Kimura being a racer who lives in a orphanage and it was being forced to close down and all the kids was scattered around to find a home...hahaha...think I'm just being too emotional but I guess that's what make me as a person. I treasure relationships alot. =)

Recently just don't have the will or heart to do anything but guess I've been this way since end of Decemeber, still trying to find the motivation to get me going again. I know the Lord has been asking me to move on but I just can't let go...I thought I have but guess I'm still far from it. Thank God for protecting dad from his operation and I hope the recovery will be good and not side effect.

Think I need a break from Singapore to go back to my cave...

After a few months the football team was formed, we have got to know new people from all walks of life that come together just to have some fun with the game we all love that is football. The team is make up from age 18 to may 40? With people you will definitely have problems with some of the relationship issue as we are all wired up differently and besides this team that make me realise that but as my new job scope let me have alot of exposure to all sorts of age/gender/personality an characters.

God is moulding me to be a tougher and more confident person despite my reserve nature, I've learn to be more daring in speaking up. Been driving on the road after getting my licence and at times I just miss the days where I was taking public transport as it can be quite stressful even on the road as you can encounter all sort of drivers but driving train your patience as I personally experienced that...hahahaha..overall the experience is not that bad but I just hate finding parking lots as it seems like that isn't enough slot to most of the place that I went.

My current state....STRESS!! STRESS!! STRESS!! ~____~

The match just ended late evening today and we managed to come back from a 2-0 and bounce back to win the game at 4-2.

Glad that the whole team is working better as a unit now and the attacks are flowing in rather smoothly.

I have 4 chances today and I only scored 1. I should have bag the other 2 but I'm too eager for goals which ended up wasting the chance. Will be more compose in future but glad that I played rather well today.

I've been thinking have I changed to feel less for the things that is around me after the heart breaking event that totally kills the heart. I think this stab will never be heal regardless of how long the time is given. Many a times I know that God want me to let go but how? Positionally I know I need to but experientially I can't. I just can't....maybe I'm still in the state of self pity? maybe....

So many things are still ongoing that is bringing me down lower and lower....think very soon I might need some pills for depression...hahaha

Firstly, I just wanna share that I finally got my driving license in my first attempt. I'm really grateful and thankful to the Lord for His blessing upon me as I pick a rather easy road and the tester was very kind to me by assuring me not to get too nervous as I've the tendency to be extremely nervous! After the drive and everything I really thank God that all is over! ^^

Today finally I've got my first van to go on the road and this is Suzuki Every Wagon. It was a rather quick decision as form the past few days my bro-in-law and I have been looking around and testing some of the old vans which include Toyota Liteace and Nissan URVan. Today we don't really intend to look much around but somehow as we are at Turf City we walk pass and saw this cute little van and we asked how much that it cost for a new one? The price was not within our budget and so we move off and as we are heading back to the car we saw another van so we went to take a look and to our surprise the salesman introduce to us the same van we asked earlier but this is a 2nd hand but only out for 5 months and so we still can drive this van for another 9 and a 1/2 years at a much cheaper price so after much consideration we got this van and here is the photo.

Last Sunday we finally managed to start our first game for HPL (Hope Premier League) and our opponent are a group from the youth side. We won the game 2-0 but with alot of ugly scenes throughout the game. My primary school friend was kick in his head and shoulder and the referee didn't even take it as a foul? another good friend got a two leg tackle from behind and again no card was given. The referee is basically telling them "go and foul all you wanted, I won't book you!".

I was totally disappointed with the referee and of course with the current youth standard of attitude/character and integrity. A question mark came to my mind and that is are they really from our church youth service? I can't believe it. Throughout the whole match they are yelling to the referee to book our team for nothing and in my own opinion this referee is being lead by the nose from this youth team.

Overall we still win so at least this is a fair results but we got so many players injured and hope that all will have a speedy recovery. =)

Early this morning when I was buying my breakfast at BK and I saw a lady who bring back a burger asking the gal at the counter to change it cause her friend ordered earlier for her and she don't want to eat sausage today and wanted ham instead. I was like .......wow...how on earth can people just do that? It's not they give the wrong order and the order was like way before I reached the place. -___-

When come to my turn...I take my order and i was going to get a seat and my coffee slip and *bang* fell on the floor and I was like sigh....there goes my coffee but the assistant manager was kind enough to offer me another free cup of coffee and that really make my day but as I was eating and enjoying my breakfast. I saw the uncle who was mopping the spilled coffee I felt so bad as that free coffee make my day and I think my spilled coffee spoilt his great morning at work.

1 event can make so much differences to each individuals and there are good and the bad of it.

Tomorrow will be the day after weeks of training we finally will be having our first match of the Hope Premier League and we will be playing against a team from the youth.

After so high and low of the events in the team we finally secure 23 players to form up this team. I certainly hope that we can get into top 4 which so far I'm still rather confident as we have yet to see any other teams played yet! hahahaa...the happy thing about forming this team is sort of fulfilling my child hood dream of joining in a league after I was stopped by my dad during my secondary school days to join a ex S league club for training.

23 players all together and there are a rather high amount of pre-believers which I believe this team will be the bridge to draw this people over. Pray that all the members will not be too focus on the playing part...haahaha

I'll update our team photos and results up once it's over tomorrow and certainly hope it will be a great win for us. =)

Yesterday when I'm travelling around Bukit Merah Central to get some new customers and I saw this little boy sitting on the stairs beside the post office hugging his leg crying. I was shock to see that and I paused for a few seconds then 2 ladies came up to that boy to ask him where is his mama but that boy just keep on crying and crying.

Minutes later, a old man came and talk to the boy in mandarin telling him don't cry, and he bring that boy up to the nearby coffee shop and guess what...he asked him "You wanna drink coffee?" The boy just continue to cry. Somehow I think one of the shop aunty know who is the boy with earlier so she walk up to find his mama and minutes later a very young lady walk back with the shop aunty and that boy immediately went over and hug her and my guess is that it's his sister.

The most amazing is...that boy is not a chinese....

I just wonder...how can people just left their siblings, kids just like that? hmmm...

This couple of days have been rather crazy for me as my world just simply collapse on me...I can't find anything to cling on to...If I may take the exact word from the bible I would use..."eloi eloi lama sabathani..." but who am I to use this? So I use..See, O LORD, how distressed I am! Do no ask me why am I so down or what happen as I don't wish to share to anyone. I may look the same but I'm a different man now.

I just pray that the Lord will shine His face upon my family and me....Heal all my nieces especially Bernice and Reina. Restore the smile which should be hanging on every kids face unto them.

There was once this heart that was given filled with love and hope to this young lady but as time goes by this young lady start to get more busy with life and the things around her don’t turn out the way she thought they will and slowly her rooms get clutter with many things and she saw this heart and decided to place it in the shelves and after years when she is going to start a new phase of life so she decided to clear her stuff and found this heart but it’s filled with a very thick layer of dust and after looking at it she felt that this heart is no longer the one she seeks after so without second thoughts she just discard it away and this heart after so many years of waiting to be found again cannot take this decision and died.

:::Day 3 to 6 in China:::

The 3rd and 4th day basically is almost similar as it's all about walking and looking at all the stuff at the whole building and other parts of the city but it's different as for this 2 days we got a local lady called 小赵 to follow us around the places where we go so which makes out trip more fruitful and we make our orders at a extreme fast speed till 小赵 was rather surprise that we can make such fast decisions.

We ended both days at late afternoon as we are too tired to walk anymore. (Imagine 20km a day...~__~) and went to our room to have a shower and short rest before we head out to the town area for dinner and we tried a stall that sell a mixture of dishes and serve with porridge or rice. The dishes was hot and the fish is filled with bones and it's really filled with BONES! you can not imagine it till you see it! serious!! I forget to take a picture as I was too busy picking out the bones so my bro-in-law gave that fish a name called "Many Bone Fish" "多骨鱼" and the porridge tasted like the yellow dumplings we had in Singapore.

After the meal we went to a cafe to have some coffee as for the past few days I hardly find any coffee in the area where I'm staying or basically coffee is not very popular in China so I ordered Irish Coffee and I'm really impressed as they got a guy who dressed up like a chef (he might be one) and perform a flaming show for that cup of coffee! Yummy..I'm satisfied. ^^

Back to our room we started to pack our stuff as we thought we need to catch a early flight back to Xiamen but my bro-in-law made a call to his friend whom we are suppose to meet up in Xiamen and they told us we are meeting on Saturday isn't it? and I did a double checked on our air tickets and we burst our laughing at our own silliness hahaha...so the next day we just laze around and went to shop around and we had our first fast food in China which is KFC, when you ordered a burger or chicken they actually give you a plastic gloves to use...hmmm..not very environmentally friendly isn't it?!? Gotta feedback!!

We rested early as we need to catch a 8am flight back to Guanzhou and from Guanzhou to Xiamen.

:::Day 2 in China:::

Woke up at around 8am after a good rest and went for our breakfast and the restaurant is buzzing with so many people so we need to share a table with others. Had our breakfast and step out of the hotel and again we are greeting by a cold and freezing wind ~___~ and that wind really cuts in to the bone! Despite have my jacket on my pants are not design to block out winds so my legs suffered a little but still bearable.

We walked around the buildings near to our hotel and I can say that China is really having alot of land as their malls are so big that I felt that I've walk over 20km!!

After taking down some notes we headed back to the hotel and later in the evening went for my first ever foot massage and I almost cried due to the pain. ='(

Woke up at 5am to wash up as need to check in at the airport at 6am..sigh I hate this kind of morning flight.

Finally after 3hrs and 50mins we have reached Guanzhou Baiyun Airport to wait for our transit and we need to wait for 4hrs for that so my bro-in-law and I tour the airport before we finally found a tea house to sit down to enjoy some Pu Er tea while waiting for the time to crawl.....

We finally reach our first destination after traveling for almost whole day (with many waiting in between) and we are greeted by a very cold and chilling air and thank God I got my jacket with me. =)

Finally reached the hotel and had our dinner which marks the end of the first day.

:::Falling in Place:::

Been extremely busy for the past 2 weeks and I see how things starting to fall in place but not without sweat and muscle aches ~__~

For 2 weeks bank account are open despite some hiccups, furniture arrive and fixed up, fresh coat of paint, phone lines and fax line are up, internet up, pc and printers up, new carpet for the 2 offices done...etc. I look back and look wow...finally! I think at the moment I'm still under alot of stress but thank God for seeing me thru' the tough 2 weeks BUT my eldest sis told me...the stress will be more to come!!! Argh!!! NoooOooooo....God be my strength and light.

For the past few days I've been running around the island with my bro-in-law to settle the things needed for the new company and literally it's almost every where. Get new PC, All-in-1 printer, new office table, shelves, chairs, name card, rubber stamps, air tickets....and the lists goes on.

Suddenly like I have so many informations going into my brain and time just flashes and at times my mind just went blank...hahaha...~_~"

On the other side of me, I'm excited due to the fact that it's something new for me so it means more things to learn and indeed just by running around this few days make me know alot of new contacts! hahaha...maybe I'm a mountain tortoise but glad that I've learn something new. =)

Got myself a new luggage and I'm quite satisfied with that purchase and very soon I'll be flying off and wait in fear and hope! =P

Today marks the new chapter of my career again as I'll be going off to start something new and I don't know what is ahead of me in years to come but I trust that God have a plan for me that in His time everything will start to form clearly.

At times I really wonder will I really do something beyond my comfort zone but this new venture really brings me out from it as I need to do sales to get the business but thank God He have been molding me during this period of 11 mths during my short stay with my mom and indeed during this period I saw all sorts of people with all different personalities and sometimes I'm just so amazed at all this as it dawn on me that maybe I was a difficult customers too!

God is still molding me and I just pray that God give me His wisdom as I step into this new world of opportunities and may He grant me His favor. ^^

Recently just received a letter saying that I can go and collect my Brands Gift Set so I wonder wow isn't it just timely? hahaha....but...i don't take essence of chicken...@_@

Last Saturday is our church 16th anniversary and indeed we have come a long way to reach where we are today and all this while God have been with us. This year we went into a celebration without any debts as we are now a debt free church and this year we are honored to have Pastor PN with us and Hope Bangkok worship team as well. True Value of Worship

We talk about it, we sing song about it, it's on the lips of many worshipers.

Worship is a heart issue and probably the most powerful forces that we have going on in the sphere of our life.

With the heart of David, he starts with anguish but end with heart of praise.

The person who knows the value and power of true worship will always find the ability to stand strong.

3. How do I begin my journey of truthful worship?

God is not looking for an outside in worship. He is looking for a heart, a genuine heart of worship.

Talk about the true worshiper.

Do not worry about what people will think; just think what Jesus will think.

Just bring all we got as He accepts us of who we are and He really treasures us to the core.

It's a decision of our will before we can agree with our heart. We don't wake up everyday jumping out of bed and say "I want to worship!" so sometimes the action come first before our heart can agree.

Will our life be the same as we progress or come to a new point in life?

This is the question that I'm asking myself while preparing myself for something new and challenging that is about to happen that will affect how my life/career will be like so I can't sit on the fence and look but rather I got to go down to the field and get myself dirty for maybe for the next 1 or 2 years times but what is the outcome no one will know except Him. ^^

Personally I felt that it's time that I do something to strive a career path and start to lay the foundation of it as I'm not getting any younger as the time go ticking away.

I just pray that the Lord will bless the work from my hands and grant me wisdom and strength that I will sore high above.

Today mark a new thing in my life as I started my driving lessons and I got on the driving seat and the car started to move and indeed driving is not as easy as I thought it would be unlike those games for driving which I tried at arcade or at home. There is so many things and you need to be focus and conscious of your surrounding as if any mistake it will not only endanger myself but others as well.

Slowly I think I'm adjusting to this new world of automobiles =P

2 more days and we will be stepping into the month of September and another 3 more months we will be celebrating the year 2008...thats my thought as I look into the calendar and it really true that time don't wait for anyone!!

During this year I've learn to treasure my family more and more as the day passes and as I see my nieces grow up everyday I see the goodness of God for my family despite there are difficulties and trials but God is good and I've learn to see my weaknesses more and more and I just prayed that the Lord will help me overcome all my shortcoming and make me a more effective servant of His.

In Christ Name I pray...Amen!

After being away from blogging for almost 2 months I'm back again after a trip to the Land of Smiles, went over on Friday and just return yesterday night and indeed a very tiring trip due to the lack of sleep and walking plus exploring the area.

This is considered the first time that I really went over Thailand with a purpose of just a holiday as previous trips are all mainly for church camps and conference so it's a rather new experiences and there is really so many changes since my last trip which is a couple of years ago and have a experience of landing in their new aiport which I would say I'm impressed with the improvements overall.

Not sure whether did I really enjoy myself during this trip but at least I took a short break to just relax.

During this period I've been thinking beside Jesus who can give unconditionally and just continue to give and give without receiving? How much can a person give till to a point where the person is totally drain out?

Ans: Yet to find out...hahaha

I'm back after mourning over the lost of Liverpool! =P Just joking...haha...Been rather busy recently as have been rushing out a mini project for the beloved and thank God at last it was finish and gave it to her. Glad that she like it!

Time really flies as it have been half a year gone for 2007 and hmmm what have I achieve so far? I guess for the past 6 months have been a rather up and down of a roller coaster ride for me but glad that during the past 6 months I've spend much more time with my family and getting to really see and understand who they are. It's really interesting as you can stay with your parents and siblings for over 20+ years (for my case =P) and at the end of it you might not know them really that well? Just a couple of days ago my 2nd sis commented that guys don't really remember their parents' birthday and I went silence...I'm guilty of that as I only remember the month but not the date so during all these years have things become so natural that I've take them for granted?

Recently also been talking to a friend about our purpose in life after knowing Christ and it's bring light to me as well as I shared. After walking with Him for 6 years+ I felt that I'm not walking closer but rather it's seems like I'm not moving so it's very true that it's not how good we start but rather how we end with Him.

Father, give me the first love that I first encounter You and use me to show your love to those around me..especially my love ones and through me they will feel your love for them.

Today is a sad day for me as my favourite Football club lost in the Champions League Final but they only have themselves to blame as they left their scoring boots back in England.

We will be stronger next year! Milan just won it by the moment of brillance so nothing to be proud of but congrats to them for winning.

Suddenly have some inner thoughts on this issue as personally last Sunday our church group went over to meridien food court for lunch and as normally we always go in a big group and thus we'll be sitting together but there was this aunty from this Noya Stall (Can't really remember the name) keep on scolding people from our church for taking the seats away and stuff so I was quite disgusted by her remarks and even after she go back to continue her lunch she is still complaining to her fellow kakis as if she is right to do that but the problem is we are customers to the food court and we did pay and buy food/drinks over there and what right does she have to scold us? Just because we didn't buy from her stall?

So whose fault is it? Maybe she have a bad day...we'll never know.

Then early today, there is this uncle who came to the shop to ask for a exchange for a pair of 老花眼镜 but he bought it like few days ago and now he wanna ask for a change in degree. Mom told him he cannot do that then he started to flare up and saying we should label no exchange and stuff but we already have that at the counter and guess what is his reply..."Why put there for who to see!" and he storm off...

I recall a lady after she bought a pack of batteries back and after a few days come back again said it's not working but we tested it and it's can be used but she demand a exchange...

Whose fault is it? Is customers always right?

My thought is that personally we need to acess the stituation and I think each and everyone of us have a lineyard of the standard but this standard is just a thin line so thin that maybe at times I might cross it too.

The Lord is showing me more and more and when it come to doing business we really need to control our emotions and remain calm despite we are the correct party as I've seen two extreme side of this area.

:::Feasting at Jap Buffet:::

Yesterday night went to have a japanese ala carte buffet at a resturant at Tanjong Pagar with Jingpeng and a side note...if you want a quiet place you can really consider going to Tanjong Pagar on a Sunday as the streets are almost empty.

Now back to the restaurant, it's called Honjin Japanese Restaurant (本军) If I remember correctly the chinese word. The seats we got are counter seats and right infront of us is a sushi bar where there is this china sushi maker busy making sushi for the hungry hungry customers.

We ate alot of sashimi and estimated almost 90 pieces in total (Hamachi, Sake, Tako and Maguro) and so I guess we got our value of money back!

It's was a rather good experience and got learning points too even when we are eating as I saw how the waiteress' working attitude as the restuarant have 2 levels so when some of the waiteress saw it's on the 2nd floor they will walk away and ignore that serving while another one I notice is she just take orders and serve what ever is ready and don't grumble anything at all and for the sushi maker...he was still smiling initially but as the order slips pile up that smile is gone and the standard of the sushi gets worse but I think it's really tough for him as he need to do for all the orders and since it's a buffet so they will order without holding back but I still don't know why people will order sushi in buffet...hahaha

We headed back home with extreme full stomach...

:::First Trip to Batam:::

Celebrated my birthday in a foreign land for this year round and this time it's in Batam and this is my very first trip to Indonesia and of course Batam itself.

Was very excited about this trip as it's my first trip there so the feeling is like a little child going to a new ground to explore and to my astonishment I woke up late!!! Gotta take a taxi and rush down to Harbour Front Centre to meet up with beloved and thank God I'm only 5mins late due to the taxi but my wallet is not very healthy after that =P

I'll not go into details of mins and secs so we boarded the Penguin and "Batam here I come!" so after almost an hour we finally reached there and immediately we got into a small problem as we almost boarded the wrong bus with the wrong tour group but thank God somehow or rather He make me take our the spare coupon to check and I found out that It have another agency's name on it so we quickly alight the wrong bus and finally found the correct guide and we begin our tour.

We went around the bus and the tour guide was telling us the different areas of Batam and what is the population ratio in Batam and it's 40% chinese and the rest are malays and also alot of prices quote about the properties over there as if we are investors looking for some bunglows or what but overall I quite like the guide as she is friendly and really go the extra miles to meet the needs of her customers.

Places we went are like shopping mall; Polo Shops; temple (Which we didn't go in); Go Kart Centre; Sea Sports Centre and somesort of Indonesia drama or so special perfomances which I don't really feel good watching but I took alot of photographs. =P

End of the day, we got delayed by a hour over in Batam as there is a miscommunication between the guide and her company and so ended up we went to the wrong place to board that Penguin but thank God, everything is settled and we had a good chat with a couple from overseas who is working in Singapore.

Reached Singapore around 9.30pm and I rushed home for a short celebration with my family as they got me a big and nice cake.

Ok, decided to try a new template after I saw this from another webbie and decided to use it so please kindly comment but in the next few weeks might come out with something of my own as think it's time I come out of the black thingy.

Personally I find this design suits me rather well as I love photographys, drawings and stuff even though I'm not very good at them. =P

Why I suddenly bring up this issue as today the foot reflexilogy shop that is 2 shop space away from mine got alot of commotion as one of the lady who work there was be arrested for working illegally without a valid working permit. I remembered watching "挣封相对" discussing about this issue and they invited 2 陪读妈妈s to join in the talk show as well.

So what is my view on this? I think need to adress it case by case basics as the 2 ladies did bring across valid points so I guess there is always space for improvements in everything that we do and there is no perfect system so either the government assess their funds and do a costing to ensure they have enough money to see them through for at least a couple of years or allow them to do some work during the kids school time.

I personally don't really know this lady who was caught today but it's rather sad to see such things happen around you and I was quite shock actually to see the lady I saw almost everyday being handcuffed and hop on to a police car, heard a uncle saying he say her crying while sitting in the car. Pray that she won't be send back to China as what will happen to her child all alone in a foreign land.

Today got a primary school kid who shoplifted in the shop but we didn't manage to catch him. Sigh...at such a tender age he is doing this...really wonder what will happen if this continue.

It's Mother's Day today and I sent a short sms to my mom to thank her for taking care of me and her love for me. I can't really remember when is the last time I affirm her. Thinking back I gave her alot of things during my days back in school where I will give her hand-made card and at times I get her some gifts during Mother's Day.

It was a bright and sunny morning and sis and me have everything plan out to bring all the little ones to went to the beach at Sentosa but Bernice is still having high fever on Friday night so at almost 11am we decided to call it off but on Saturday near noon I received a sms from sis and said Bernice fever is gone and she is dancing and singing at home so she asked me wanna continue as plan so we go ahead as plan despite I having flu but thank God as I'm much better compared to that morning. =)

After all the packing and dragging we set off finally at almost 3pm! All are excited and we reached the beach at around 4+pm and Reina don't seems to do well and after awhile she got a fever so during the tme at the beach she is sitting on my lap watching the others playing in the sea and building sandcastle.

We leave the beach around 6 near 7 and went for our dinner at the foodcourt and to my disappointment the food that I ate "Small Little pot" mee....the noodles are not well cooked and the fish ball tasted sour...so this teach me never trust those papers that the stall stick infront of their glass.

After Sentosa we went to VIVO city for a short while and do some shopping at this I forget what name where they only sell candys and chocolates and I guess the kids will really love them.

Reached home tired but happy. zzZZ

Yesterday had been a day of regular visits to the toilet and initially I thought that just take some medication and I'll be fine but to my disappointment It didn't. =(

Finally after so many rounds of it, I finally give up and went to see a doctor and it cost my $38.85!!! I can't believe it!! This is the first time I spend so much in a private clinic but nothing much I can do. Doc said I can't take dinner and if still didn't get well I can't take breakfast too! Thank God for his grace I'm much better already thou' not fully recover yet.

Caught this movie yesterday with beloved and just on Saturday my 2nd bro-in-law told me he was quite disappointed with the movie so it's somehow dipped my expectation for this movie but after the movie I felt that it might be another superhero movie but it's also very real in everyone of our life.

There is this bugger called "Venom" where once it grab on the body it will bring out the evil in that person and I believe there is this "venom" in everyone of us and how we curb this "venom" is another issue but some may just work together with this "venom" and at times do good deed to redeem the wrong they do but what done is already done isn't it?

I remember a scene where Spiderman and his uncle's killer stood face to face and the killer apologise for his act and said he had done terrible things to him and guess what the superhero reply is...He said "I've done terrible things too" and eventually he forgive this person who killed his uncle. Indeed revenge is not ours to take regardless of what harm or hurts we have suffered we shouldn't take revenge into our own hands and God is soverign over all things in our life.

Hate is like a poison and it will grip the heart till you will lose yourself so I guess that is what this movie is teaching us.

:::JAPANESE FIESTA::::

Last Saturday had a time of cooking and fun time together with my siblings and nieces as we make sushi, japanese curry rice and miso soup and indeed the amount of $$, time and effort spend may not be worth it to some but I tink the time we spend preparing and cooking is something that is nothing in this world can buy as I see the joy Bernice experienced and the two little ones maybe they too are enjoy themselves walking and crawling around the kitchen floor.

Woke up early morning to do marketing and indeed it was quite a big hussle as I travelled with da jie to first Rail Mall Cold Storage to get some sashimi but ended up they don't sell them over there so need to catch a cab further down King Albert Park where they have a bigger scale cold storage and finally we got it.

Rush back home and I meet up beloved and we started the preparation. Sis do the cooking of the rice while I started using the new knife we got and I love it very much got it's so sharp that I almost cut off my nails! hahaha...Firstly I started by de-bone the chicken drumstick and follow by potatoes and carrots for the curry.

Next will be the crabstick and japanese cucumber for the sushi and while I'm cutting this lili is busy mixing the sushi rice and after she is done she and Bernice started to work on the sushi but I guess Bernice ate up most of the seaweed which we suppose to wrap the sushi!! Thank God sis got a extra packet. =D

Sis started to stir fry the meat, carrot, potatoes and garlic for the curry and after awhile we added the japanese curry mixed cube and within a short span of 20mins the curry is ready! Isn't that fast and the taste I would say it won't lose to any restuarant...hahaha

So we had a great time of feasting and I packed some for Grandma and mom who is at the shop. =)

Ended the day rather tired but joy fills my heart as I'm glad that all of us have enjoyed the time together.

:::Phantom of the Opera:::

Went to catch this musical last Tuesday with my beloved one and it's another full house and indeed this is a highly enticipated muscial as it have been over 13 years since they last came over to Singapore.

No cameras are allowed so I can't take any photos during the whole performance but you can still see flashes from cameras inside the theatre and one young gentleman caught my eye as he just sit 1 row infrom of me but more towards my left hand side. This young fellow simply look to take his own photo but it seems like he's not really good at it so we had a good laugh and awaits for the musical to starts.

For those who have caught the movie version of this will not be disappointed as well as there are scenes that are totally different from the movie. The setting is very grand and the props are very well made and all I can say is "Bravo" to the whole performance.

:::Back For the Season??:::

Think my feet get too happy till I've stopped blogging for over 4 months!! hahaha It's the longest break that I have from blogging and I think most people have concluded that my blog is offical DEAD! =P

What happen during this 4 months? I went for my reservist in March, Visited my relatives in M'sia during CNY, lots of ideas flying in and out of my mind and new environment to work in and new exposure so it's rather overwhelming as everything seems so raw and I can only flow along with it.

Did I learn anything during this period? Indeed I've learnt more about myself and seeing my shortcoming and I get to know myself more during this period of reflecting and searching. Though It's not the end of the tunnel yet but I see light. Thank God for the trials which I pray that His grace will see me through as at times I felt like just giving up and resign to fate? God reminded me of Psalm 23 where he assured me he will be there for me and another verse came into my mind that is the verse which I really like and that is Psalms 27:1-4 which says:

1 The LORD is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When evil men advance against me
to devour my flesh, ^[a]
when my enemies and my foes attack me,
they will stumble and fall.

3 Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then will I be confident.

4 One thing I ask of the LORD,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,

So with Him being with me I'll be victorious not because of my own but because He is with me.

Know that I'm a bit slow to watch a movie that had been up for quite a long while but manage to catch it last Saturday with my other half and although it quite hard to differentiate which is which character but at least you won't miss the main character as he is different from the rest.

This movie is quite a touching, sad but with a happy ending kind of movie....haha...it's a good musical movie. =)

This week mom got a new mattress and it's the latest one called detense which I don't know what it means but it sure nice to sleep on it =P and a new tv console just arrived at home after some mistake made by the company which ended up they got to make 2 trips down to get it fixed up but thank God as end of day all it done.

Tomorrow will be clearing my computer table and after that will be shifting it in to my room and start to do some drilling to the wall to fix up a wall mount table as well for my art work..haha...so will be a major project to be done so prayfully all will run smoothly.

Since I've posted previously I'm back from Mars so this time will be back from Venus. After taking a long break from blogging here I am refreshed and recharged to continue to update what is going on around me.

The month of November is a month which I think is the most difficult part of my life that I've ever gone thru' as there is so much things ongoing and having so many things happening around me really doesn't help alot but thank God He bring me thru' all this in one piece..haha...

During the month of November, I've quited my job as you can see from the previous post, elder sis shifted to her new house which is just opposite us, I clean up my room (Still ongoing..=P), going to paint the whole house and I learn to make jewellery using crystals and stuff...haha..

Currently I'm helping my mom in her shop and also having a offering to design a website which most probably I'll do it since it's extra income but yet to confirm.

Will update more often now so stay tune. ^^

Been away for a rather long time away from blogging so decided to do a little update.

At the moment I'm still shaking my legs at home as at the moment there is so much things going on in my mind and can't really stay focus in planning the details on how to help to manage and organise the shop and hopefully by December all will be settled and getting sick quite easily nowadays so pray that God will protect me from harm and heal me of all the viruses.

Decided to give my desktop a change in the layout and this is the comparision of the old and the current one.

1st Novemeber marks the day where I end my career with NUS and venture off to a new unfamiliar ground. It's have been over 5 years since the day I join NUS at the age of 21 and today I've grown in age and weight. =P Throughout this period I'm really blessed to have great colleagues to work with and as time passes by it's just like a family where we will share about our life to one another. Really hope that I will find time to visit them as often as I can. =)

The past few days I've been posting about my little baby niece Reina and praise the Lord, she's back with us yesterday after her blood test early in the afternoon and after getting the result of the test she can be discharge and go home...^^ but starting from today she will need to start taking asprin as instructed by the doctor and around 5 days later back to KK for a heart scan and for a review.

Really glad that she is back with us where I can see the whole family face yesterday was filled with a big smile and seeing dad and mom trying to make the baby laugh is a enjoyment too. =P

Starting to countdown for my last day at work and I got 7 days of leave to clear which means 1st Novemeber will make the day I leave NUS an venture into a new area which I never been to before.

:::Update for Little Tong Tong:::

Tong Tong have been admitted for the third day at KK and by the grace of God her fever was gone since yesterday night and if by tomorrow her fever still didn't come back she might be able to discharge from KK tomorrow after her blood test which most probably will be in the morning.

This few days have been rather a tough time for my eldest sis as she is staying with Tong in the hospital to look after her so I guess for this 3 days she didn't really get much needed rest so prayfully Tong will recover and come back home...the whole family miss her so much. =] Even for Bernice miss her daddy and mommy and tong tong so much as she too haven't see the parents for 2 days so she is rather emotional at times and cry a fair bit but overall she behave must must better then in the past and maybe also because she manage to pass her time over at mom's shop so everyday she got home after shower she is too tired to cry. =P

Seems like there is constant problems and situations that the family gotta go thru' but even hundle draw the family closer as we work together hand in hand to overcome it. ;)
